‘Manus x Machina. Fashion in an age of Technology’. With works of Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Issey Miyake, Karl Lagerfeld, Hussein Chalayan, Raf Simons and Iris Van Herpen among others. It will explore the dichotomy between hand-made and machine-made fashion and will question the distinction between haute couture and ready-to-wear associated to this dichotomy. It will show the different ways in which internationally acclaimed designers reconcile both methods in their creations.
